The Grande Maison en Cambieure is located in the heart of this typical French village on a small hill. This 18th century mansion was modernized and restored affectionately and with love. Three generous guest rooms with private bathroom that are equipped in a modern way, the charm of the house has been kept. The idyllic front garden has several terraces with individual seating. Umbrellas, cushions and blankets are available. Parking possibilities exist close enough to the house.

The surrounding area invites you to go hiking or biking on many routes. Tours of the Cathar castles, the city of Carcassonne as well as the medieval towns of Mirepoix and Fanjeaux are possible for half-day excursions. An excursion to the Pyrenees or to the Mediterranean is also recommended.

Christian welcomes you cordially since 2016 in his mansion, which he naturally baptized “La Grande Maison” because of its large size compared to the surface of the pretty little hamlet of Cambieure in which it is located.

A large house where he offers you to stay but also to eat if you wish. Over the years, Christian has developed a generous Bed and Breakfast service, with breakfasts, lunches and dinners made every day with seasonal products. Moments that you can enjoy inside or on the terrace, alone or in company, depending on your desire for solitude in this haven of peace or discovery. However, if you feel like asking him about the area, he knows it well and will be happy to introduce you to the best aspects of it in French, German or English!

Also for your pleasure, this summer he is inaugurating a new relaxation area around the small swimming pool that he has just had built to add even more freshness and pleasure to your stay.
